Race Format & Nature
The Jumping Gorilla Mountain Trail Run Series organizes 100% mountain trail races in the rugged terrains of the Sahyadri ranges (Western Ghats). The series is self-supported, with aid stations every 9 to 12 km providing minimal assistance including hydration and basic nutrition. This is a competitive, high-difficulty race series.
Medical & Emergency Protocol
Aid stations are staffed with physiotherapists. Medical emergency teams are available along the route and at the base. Participants must carry emergency contact information and recommended health documents, as well as some cash for unforeseen needs.
Mandatory Gear List
Self-Declaration & Liability
All runners must sign a self-declaration and waiver form. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage. No compensation or liability will be entertained in case of accidents.
Race Exit & Quitting Protocol
Runners may exit the race only at official aid stations. Exit must be confirmed with race volunteers. Rescue and transport will be coordinated accordingly. Unscheduled exits are discouraged.
Race Timing & Results
Race timing uses mountain timing technology. Results and photographs will be uploaded within 10 days post-race, after verifying aid station data. Accuracy is prioritized.
Objections & Claims
Participants may submit a Race Result Claim Form in case of result disputes. All claims will be reviewed within 7 working days.
UTMB & ITRA Affiliation
We are affiliated with ITRA and UTMB World Series. Result updates to these platforms require runners to provide their full name and date of birth. We are not bound by their processing timelines or decisions.
